New material for large-vat SLA machines – ULTRACUR3D® SLA 7700!

In collaboration with BASF, we helped develop a new material for 3D printing – ULTRACUR3D® SLA 7700.

ULTRACUR3D® SLA 7700 is a versatile material designed for easy and reliable processing on large-vat Stereolithography (SLA) machines. It offers amazing optical clarity, allowing you mostly see through it. It also offers excellent accuracy, detail, processing speed, and allows for surface finish, and it has low moisture absorption. All of this makes it ideal both for aesthetics and for functional purposes along a wide range of industries and use cases, such as consumer products, highly detailed prototypes, and product design.

Here we see 3 objects made from ULTRACUR3D® SLA 7700. The left is a demo with no treatment, the middle had a clear coating treatment, and the right had a resin coating treatment. As you can see, the objects become more transparent.

BASF is a German chemistry company founded in 1865. The company produces amongst other things plastic material to LEGO, chemicals to color and paint, medicinal products, and chemicals to agriculture.
