Silicone 3D printing in gel, what is it, and can we use it for anything?
By 3D printing in a gel bath, it becomes possible to create much more complex structures, as the effect of gravity on the object being built is minimized, and the need for support material is entirely gone.
These gel baths work particularly well when printing with flexible materials. With silicone 3D printing in gel, it’s possible to create lattice structures and constructions with thin walls.
