ADVANCED DOORS FOR THE WORLD´S BIGGEST PASSENGER AIRLINER
Just one Danish company was selected to participate in developing the world’s biggest passenger airliner, the Airbus A380. Teccluster played a central role in development of the Airbus doors.

short project description
In 2005, work began on the construction of the world’s biggest passenger airliner, the Airbus 380. Teccluster was selected to supply mechanical components for three of the airliner doors and cockpit coating. By means of additive manufacturing, including SLS technology, we developed advanced prototypes and construction components for the airliner, reducing both time and costs.
After supplying the doors to the factory in Germany, we were asked to develop and deliver the cockpit coating.
